Toddler Time
What is Toddler Time?
Toddler Time is a group for toddlers and their caregivers and is part of Early Support at the EEU. The EEU’s Early Support program is for children under age 3 and their families. Children and caregivers who attend Toddler Time will have opportunities to engage in a variety of toddler-friendly activities and spend time with others. For more information, please see our Toddler Time Welcome Letter.
If you have concerns about your child’s development, please complete the Early Support Referral for Evaluation form linked below. Toddler Time is not a primary service location for Early Support Services.
Please complete an interest application for your child to attend the Early Support at the EEU Toddler Time group. This application adds your child to the interest list for the upcoming school year. Decisions are made in late Spring and Summer before the start of the school year in September.
We are not taking applications for Toddler Time currently. We will re-post our application in the fall of 2024.
RETURNING STUDENT
If your student is currently enrolled in Toddler Time and will be returning for the 2025-26 school year, we will contact you in the spring of 2025 to confirm your return.

EEU Early Support Services
If you have concerns about your child’s development:
Referrals and Developmental Evaluations are provided for children who live in the Seattle school district. Call our referral line to get more information at 206-543-6388 or request an evaluation online by clicking the link below. A Family Resource Coordinator will reach out within three business days. Evaluations for Early Support are provided at no cost to your family.
Early Support Referral for Evaluation
A team will assess your child’s development in the following areas:
- Cognitive: Problem-solving, play, and thinking skills
- Communication: Using gestures, sounds, and words; understanding what others are saying
- Social/Emotional: Interacting with others and sharing feelings
- Physical: Using hands and eyes together to do things; rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, running, and jumping
- Self-Help/Adaptive: Calming, feeding, sleeping, and dressing
A child who presents with a delay in at least one area of development is eligible for Early Support services in Washington State.
A child may also be eligible with a qualifying diagnosis that has a high possibility of resulting in developmental delay.
