At the Experimental Education Unit, we are building a more inclusive world, one where all parts of identity (race, disability, ethnicity, language, gender, etc) are not only recognized but celebrated. We believe that our differences make our community stronger. When we honor and uplift each person as they are, we create a learning environment where everyone feels valued and belongs.
As members of the EEU, you are also part of the Haring Center, where inclusion is the core of all we do. Within the Haring Center, there is ongoing research, professional development and classrooms where all these practices are put into place to build a welcoming learning community.
Inclusion is never done; it is a lifelong and responsive commitment. This work calls on us to be joyful, intentional, and bold as we create spaces where all children, families, and staff are welcomed, seen, and loved for exactly who they are.
